DECEW and the entire team would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped the organisation during this difficult time, particularly during this pandemic. We are grateful for your unwavering support and look forward to your continued support. We want to break down more barriers and reach out to more people, particularly those from black minority ethnic communities.
We understand how caring affects those who care for loved ones with dementia. We recognise the challenges that those living with the condition face, and as a result, DECEW will make every effort to support families of people diagnosed with dementia, and we would like to invite you to our next event, which will be a continuation of the previous one, titled “Caring for Carers of People Living with Dementia“.
The message is one of HOPE. DECEW wishes to provide hope to those living with dementia as well as those who care for them. We hope that by sharing our knowledge on caring for those who care for people living with dementia, we can foster a better understanding of not only what people living with dementia face, but also what carers face on a daily basis. We recognise that caring for someone with dementia can be extremely difficult, however, understanding dementia and supporting those who care for those living with the condition, may raise better awareness of the condition by demonstrating that help is available and accessible.
Please join us on our continued session for the message of HOPE, on;
